About The Position

The Department of Ecosystem Science and Sustainability at Colorado State University is accepting applications from individuals interested in securing temporary instructor positions. Instructors may teach in-person or online courses in their areas of expertise and are hired periodically for fall, spring, and/or summer terms, contingent upon enrollment. The department's mission is to understand ecosystem function and change across space and through time by examining interactions within and between natural and human systems. Through discovery and education, they contribute to understanding and sustaining ecosystems and their services, examining these in the context of current stresses such as changing climate, species introductions, land-use change, and intensification. The department utilizes state-of-the-art technologies and approaches to provide quality education, conduct cutting-edge interdisciplinary research, and deliver culturally relevant outreach programs.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field or a combination of a bachelor’s degree and certification in a field directly related to teaching assignments.
  • Teaching experience in a course related to Ecosystems Science and Sustainability and/or Watershed Science and Sustainability.
