CANDIDATE POOL - Adjunct Instructor, English
About The Position
Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) is seeking candidates for an Adjunct Instructor, English position. This role is part of a candidate pool for anticipated vacancies during the 2023-2024 school year. Adjunct Instructor positions are part-time, semester-to-semester, non-benefited MCCC/MTA/DCE unit positions. The instructor will teach a standard range of courses expected in the first two years of a degree program in the field. Resume reviews and interviews will occur on a quarterly basis, and successful candidates will be placed into an active candidate pool and may be notified of openings for immediate hire.
Requirements
- Master's degree within the field or 18 credits of graduate level work specific to the field.
- College teaching experience, high school teaching experience, or adult education experience.

- Teaching experience with Early College students or at the High School level.
- Commitment to the mission of the community college.
- Experience building and facilitating asynchronous or hybrid courses using a standard learning management system.
Responsibilities

- Engages in professional development and required trainings.
- Attends a limited number of faculty meetings.
