About The Position
The Department of English seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses to develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
Requirements
- MA or MFA and 18 graduate credit hours completed in English, Creative Writing, or closely related field.
- At least one year of experience teaching college-level English.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Canvas or similar system
- experience with a diverse student population
- excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse staff and students.
- Experience/training teaching Developmental Writing.
