Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in English or related field from an accredited college or university.
Three years related teaching experience in a field that demonstrates the ability to teach ESOL.
Applicants must be either a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in TESOL, Linguistics, Bilingual Education preferred.
The preferred applicant will also have Instructional experience, preferably with an ethnically diverse urban population.
Ability to work with individuals in an enthusiastic and encouraging way; excellent oral and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

Conducts classes in academic areas, including but not limited to ESOL I & II, & III Reading Preparation and Academic Preparation;
Prepare all necessary reports;
Meets with Associate Coordinator of Instructional Services or Counselor when necessary;
Performs related duties as described in Faculty Handbook/Faculty Agreement.
