About The Position

Lakeland University is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor to teach an Education Technology course (EDU 140/Intro to Educational Technology) starting in the Spring 2027 term. This face-to-face course will be held on the Plymouth, Wisconsin campus on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:25 PM to 2:20 PM. The course covers the fundamentals of educational technology and instructional design, exploring media, computers, and related technologies for classroom integration. Students will learn to evaluate when, where, and how to integrate technology effectively in the classroom. The course is worth 3 semester hours and has no prerequisites.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Educational Technology
  • Wisconsin teaching license
  • Relevant teaching experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in education.
  • Work with full-time faculty and deans to understand and employ activities that meet course learning objectives.
  • Administer and/or develop coursework (assignments, projects, in-class learning activities, exams) that meets and assesses course learning objectives.
  • Respond in a timely manner to calls or emails from students, colleagues, or supervisors.
  • Use university technology as directed.
