About The Position

The Adjunct Instructor will provide instruction in assigned subject areas within the Continuing Education Division, Workforce Solutions. This role involves utilizing various instructional strategies suitable for different learning environments (classroom, online, hybrid, lab) and ensuring accurate record-keeping for student progress. The instructor will also be responsible for fostering a culture of belonging, ensuring all students and staff feel welcomed, valued, and empowered, and supporting the college's policies on access, fair employment, and equal opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students according to the objectives of each assigned course.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies in the classroom, online, hybrid, or lab setting that are appropriate to individual student needs and may include, but are not limited to, lectures, small groups, demonstrations, and computer-assisted instruction.
• Maintain accurate student records on attendance, achievement, and progress.
• Assist in gathering pre & post-test information when required for a course.
• Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students, faculty members, and college employees feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to contribute.
• Foster a community where each individual and their varied perspectives enrich the educational experience and create a safe and respectful environment.
• Support the College’s policies and programming related to access, fair employment, and equal opportunities for all.
