About The Position

Provide student instruction in Computer Information Technology Program courses as assigned. This includes being responsible for maintaining permanent student records on courses taught, following and enforcing college policies regarding attendance, grading, and student achievement, and utilizing online course management software. The role also involves supporting and promoting an environment of belonging where all students, faculty, and employees feel welcomed, valued, and empowered, fostering a community where individual perspectives enrich the educational experience and create a safe and respectful environment. Additionally, the position requires supporting the College’s policies and programming related to access, fair employment, and equal opportunities for all.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Computer Information Technology or related degree.
  • Two (2) years of recent industry experience in Computer Information Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction to a diverse student population in the Computer Information Technology Program.
  • Be responsible for maintaining permanent student records on courses taught.
  • Follow and enforce college policies regarding attendance, grading, and student achievement.
  • Use of the instructional online course management software.
  • Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students, faculty members, and college employees feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to contribute.
  • Foster a community where each individual and their varied perspectives enrich the educational experience and create a safe and respectful environment.
