About The Position

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is seeking Adjunct Instructors to teach on-site College Composition courses starting in Fall 2026 at its Manchester, NH campus. This role is within the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education (SASE). The instructor will report to the Associate Dean for SASE and will be responsible for teaching assigned courses, developing course content, providing prompt feedback on student work, and utilizing the Brightspace Learning Management System.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in English, rhetoric, composition, or related field

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience teaching at the collegiate level is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses as scheduled
  • Participate in course content development
  • Access student work and provide prompt feedback
  • Use Brightspace (the Learning Management System) to support the course

Benefits

  • Compensation for courses is $2,800 - $3,400 per 16-week undergraduate or graduate course.
