About The Position
The School of Natural Sciences seeks an adjunct for chemistry. The successful candidate will be responsible for offering an online section of general education chemistry for non-science majors and the associated online lab section.
Requirements
- Master’s degree
- Demonstrated teaching experience
- Ability to use technology to offer a course in an online setting
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction in general chemistry suitable for non-science majors at the collegiate level
- Be reasonably available to answer student questions outside of class hours
- Provide students with feedback on class standing in a timely manner with an updated gradebook
- Perform other duties as assigned
