About The Position
The School of Natural Sciences seeks an adjunct for biology with the primary responsibility of offering a course in Local Flora. This field botany course focuses on plant diversity found in the region. The successful candidate will be able to instruct students in plant identification and major taxonomic groupings and discuss their place in the habitat of the region.
Requirements
- Master’s degree
- Relevant field experience
- Identification and classification of plants native to the region and invasive species
Responsibilities
- Teach an upper-level field course focusing upon Local Flora of the region
- Be reasonably available to answer student questions outside of class hours
- Perform other duties as assigned
