About The Position

Oakland Community College (OCC) is seeking Adjunct Faculty Instructors for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) courses. OCC is a student-centered community college in Oakland County, Michigan, dedicated to providing accessible and affordable quality learning opportunities. As one of the largest community colleges in Michigan, OCC serves over 12,000 students across multiple campuses. Adjunct Faculty are expected to utilize modern technology in the classroom. Applications are accepted continuously for an as-needed hiring pool throughout the academic year, based on enrollment. Requirements

• Master's degree in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
• OR Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience
• OR Associate's degree and 8 years of experience
• Ability to work as a team player in a multi-cultural working environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with multi-cultural students and staff preferred.
• Online teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach anticipated day and/or evening Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning courses, ranging from basic to advanced skill levels.
• Maintain and/or provide licensure and certifications where applicable.
