About The Position

White Birch Armory is hiring a part-time, contracted Adjunct Firearms Instructor in Dover, New Hampshire. The role is intended for instructors who prioritize safety and enjoy teaching in a collaborative, energetic environment. The position pays $25 per hour and includes hands-on training, with access to membership bonus and company-wide sales bonus opportunities.

The instructor works flexible shifts assigned within the business hours of 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Responsibilities include collaborating with other instructors and the Rangemaster, teaching classroom lessons, leading range sessions, and instructing pistol, rifle, and shotgun courses. The instructor may provide private training when requested and participates in instructor training, contributes course ideas, and keeps current with gear and best practices.

White Birch Armory is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business in Dover, New Hampshire. Its services include firearms training, retail sales, and range operations. Applicants must be able to pass a background check.

Requirements

• Training and experience in adult education.
• Thorough understanding of firearms practices, theories, and safety policies.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Diplomacy and professionalism.

• Analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• 10 or more years of firearms experience.
• First responder medical training.
• Certified or previously certified law enforcement officer.
• Military experience.

Responsibilities
