About The Position

The Department of Mathematics at Hastings College is seeking adjunct instructor(s) to teach Introduction to Statistics (MATH 210, 4 credits) during Spring Semester Block 2, an 8-week block running March 10 through May 5, 2027. In-person instruction is preferred, although remote teaching may be considered based on the applicant’s circumstances. The anticipated start date is March 2027.

The successful candidate will use the college’s online learning software, CANVAS, to deliver and assess course material. Candidates must reside in Nebraska or Colorado and be legally authorized to work in the United States. The position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field, with at least 18 graduate credits in Mathematics.
• Must reside in Nebraska or Colorado.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship is not available.

• Relevant teaching experience, supported by a portfolio, may also be considered.
