About The Position

The College of Natural Sciences at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate and engaging adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction in Anatomy and Physiology for Science Majors I Lab. This role involves facilitating classroom lectures and discussions, engaging students in learning course objectives, assessing student performance, and mentoring student success. Adjunct faculty are expected to provide a positive example by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission. GCU offers modern facilities and smaller class sizes, providing a rewarding teaching experience.

Requirements

  • Master's in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Biology emphasizing anatomy or physiology
  • Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in the areas listed above
  • Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate in a Biological Science with emphasis in anatomy OR physiology
