Adjunct Faculty - History
About The Position
Daemen University’s History and Political Science Department is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor to teach HST 206: Communism, Fascism & Democracy in 20th Century Europe, an upper-division history course. The course examines Europe during the tumultuous 20th century, focusing on political, economic, and diplomatic developments as well as social and cultural phenomena. It fulfills the Contextual Integration core competency and will be taught in person on Daemen’s Amherst campus. The instructor will work under the oversight of the Chair of the History and Political Science Department to ensure compliance with departmental, curricular, and institutional requirements.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in History or a closely related field.

- Previous teaching experience in higher education.
