About The Position

Georgia Military College’s Global Online College is hiring adjunct professors to teach Human Services. Applicants credentialed to teach more than one discipline are preferred; Psychology, Sociology, and Social Work are also considered. Teaching contracts are for eight weeks and may be renewed depending on class availability and satisfactory job performance. The role is remote, with applicants residing and working in California, New York, or New Jersey not eligible to apply due to business restrictions.

Applicants must submit a letter of interest, current resume or CV, three letters of reference, a teaching philosophy statement, and unofficial transcripts. If hired, an official transcript related to the teaching position will be required. A criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before work begins.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Human Services.
• Proficiency in using technology, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to maintain an appropriate and functional workspace with necessary office furniture and equipment, including a desk or workspace, chair, monitor(s), and other basic home-office needs.
• Applicants must provide a letter of interest, current resume or CV, three letters of reference, a statement of teaching philosophy, and a copy of unofficial transcripts.
• An official transcript related to the teaching position is required if hired.
• Must clear a criminal background check and drug screen before beginning work.
