About The Position

Georgia Military College (GMC) Online is hiring adjunct professors to teach Biology. Applicants able to teach both day and evening classes are preferred, though candidates with more limited availability will also be considered. Teaching assignments are offered in eight-week contracts, renewable depending on class availability and satisfactory job performance. Applications will be reviewed starting immediately and accepted until the positions are filled. Applicants must submit a current resume or CV, three professional references, and complete unofficial transcripts. Official transcripts will be required if hired. Candidates must clear a criminal background check and drug screen before beginning work. Remote faculty are responsible for maintaining an appropriate, functional workspace and providing basic home-office furniture and equipment; GMC does not routinely provide or reimburse these costs. GMC cannot accept applications from candidates who reside and work in California, New York, or New Jersey due to business restrictions in those states. Requirements

Possess a master’s degree or higher in a qualifying field; or a master’s degree or higher with 18 semester hours (or equivalent) in a qualifying field; or five years of relevant work experience in the qualifying field; or a bachelor’s degree in a qualifying field and seven years of relevant work experience in the field.

Clear a criminal background check and drug screen before beginning work.
Reside and work outside California, New York, and New Jersey.
