Adjunct Faculty: Human Services: GMC Online (PT)
About The Position
Georgia Military College’s Global Online College is hiring adjunct professors to teach Human Services. Applicants credentialed to teach more than one discipline are preferred; Psychology, Sociology, and Social Work are also among the disciplines considered. Teaching contracts are for eight weeks and may be renewed based on class availability and satisfactory job performance. Applicants should submit a letter of interest, current resume or CV, three letters of reference, a statement of teaching philosophy, and unofficial transcripts. If hired, an official transcript related to the teaching position is required. Applications are reviewed as they are received and accepted until the positions are filled. Candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug screen before starting. GMC cannot accept applications from people who reside and work in California, New York, or New Jersey.
Requirements
- Possess a master’s degree or higher in a qualifying field; or a master’s degree or higher with 18 semester hours (or equivalent) in a qualifying field and/or five years of relevant work experience in the qualifying field; or a bachelor’s degree in a qualifying field and seven years of relevant work experience in the field.
- Provide a letter of interest, current resume or CV, three letters of reference, a statement of teaching philosophy, and unofficial transcripts.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screen before beginning work.
- Applicants must not reside and work in California, New York, or New Jersey.
