ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY POSITION : Adjunct Faculty for VACA 151 Photography I QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Art, Master’s Degree in a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with a photography emphasis and relevant professional experience. RESPONSIBILITIES : Adjunct faculty are responsible for providing a quality in-person learning environment on the EMU campus. They will design syllabi, lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments to meet the course objectives and institutional learning outcomes, while addressing students' diverse needs as learners. Additionally, they will meet all deadlines for submitting attendance, grades, and data collection for the assessment of student learning. Adjunct faculty will teach: Hands-on introduction to digital photographic composition Communication, ethics, and storytelling using diverse examples from a range of photo history Manual exposure on Sony mirrorless cameras Editing and exporting photos using Adobe Lightroom Basic studio lighting with constant lights POSITION DETAILS : Faculty are contracted per course. Salary determined by education. APPOINTMENT DATE : Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 EMU reserves the right to fill the position at any time or keep the position open.
