About The Position

Adjunct Faculty position in the Teacher Education department. This role involves teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, with opportunities for both on-campus and online instruction. Requirements

• Master’s degree with substantial professional experience required.
• K-12 experience and knowledge of restorative justice in education are strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

• PhD or EdD in Education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an adjunct faculty member for the Undergraduate and/or Graduate Teacher Education program(s).
• Teach up to 9 credit hours per semester.
• Teach courses on EMU's campus in Harrisonburg, Virginia or online courses consisting of asynchronous instruction and/or synchronous instruction.
• Teach Graduate Teacher Education courses including restorative justice in education (RJE) offerings.
• Teach Undergraduate Teacher Education courses including instructional methods courses and practicum placement supervision.
