About The Position

Daemen University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach NUR 317, a 6-credit online course within the RN-BS Nursing Program. This course focuses on enhancing critical thinking and clinical reasoning by introducing nursing research and evidence-based practice. Students will learn research fundamentals and their importance in practice, with an exploration of evidence-based practice for professional development. The course includes 60 instructional hours of lecture and 60 hours of external learning experiences. The adjunct faculty member will serve as the clinical instructor for these external learning experiences. The course is offered in a distance education format.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing
• Current licensure and experience as a Registered Nurse
• Strong communication skills
• Strong teaching skills
