About The Position

This part-time, temporary position provides Dual Credit English instruction at one of the Independent School Districts affiliated with St. Philip's College. The instructor must be a teacher with the designated affiliated ISD. Teaching faculty are professional educators responsible for supporting the District mission of providing quality education to college students. Faculty serve as leaders, teachers, advisors, and facilitators of learning, uphold the colleges’ mission and values, and foster effective working relationships with students and colleagues. Faculty members are responsible to a department or program chairperson. Classes may include evening and weekend hours; otherwise, the stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pay depends on education level. Requirements

• Must be a teacher with the designated Independent School District affiliated with St. Philip's College.
• Master's degree in the teaching discipline, or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
