About The Position

Lesley University’s Department of Psychology+ is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach: CPSYC 2433 - Cognitive Psychology; Fall 2026 Term II; Remote, Asynchronous. This course provides a critical review of theories, methods, and findings in human information processing, learning, and thinking. Topics include verbal learning, memory, attention, perception, problem solving, and creativity. The course also examines how these cognitive processes function during altered states of awareness, such as sleep, dreams, and hypnosis.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Demonstrated success teaching at the undergraduate level
  • Commitment to student-centered, inclusive, and equitable teaching practices
  • Experience in constructivist, inquiry-based learning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A letter of interest, CV/resume, and a statement addressing past and/or potential contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion through teaching, professional activity, and/or service must be included for full consideration.
