About The Position
The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences offers college-level courses in face-to-face, live online via Zoom, and online via Canvas formats. Adjunct instructors are responsible for instructing students, developing curricula, assessing student learning, and maintaining College and department standards and deadlines. This position reports to Mr. Scott Schackmann, Department Head, Humanities and Social Sciences.
Requirements
- Graduation from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College with a master’s degree in Spanish or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Spanish.
- A successful criminal background check is required.
- Must meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations.
- Must disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application.
