Barry University’s Department of Counseling & School Psychology in the School of Mental Health provides a quality education in a caring environment for the adult student population. The Adjunct Faculty member will teach courses within the School Psychology master’s and specialist degree programs located on the main campus of Barry University in Miami. The School Psychology Program follows the scientist-practitioner model and is accredited by the National Association of School Psychologists and is approved by the Florida Department of Education. We are currently seeking adjunct faculty to add to our roster of contract faculty for assignments on an as-needed basis for the School Psychology (MS and SSP) Graduate Programs. Courses are delivered in several formats, including face-to-face and online; terms are seven (summer courses) and 16 weeks in length (fall and spring). Graduate courses meet once per week (Monday-Thursday) for three hours for the entire semester, with start times from 5:30 to 6:30. Adjuncts are responsible for consulting with their respective Program Directors in the development and execution of the course, as well as additional responsibilities outlined in the faculty handbook.
