About The Position
Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a nonresidential two-year institution of higher education serving Central Virginia. As part of the Virginia Community College System, PVCC is recognized for its transfer curriculum, relationship with the University of Virginia, and Workforce Development Programs. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis for adjunct faculty positions as openings occur. This posting is to identify qualified candidates for adjunct faculty in Criminal Justice. Teaching modalities may include online, on-campus, and hybrid formats. Faculty must be available to come to campus for in-person learning and/or professional development.
Requirements
- Qualified and interested in teaching Criminal Justice.
- Ability to teach in various modalities including online, on-campus, and hybrid.
- Must be able to come to campus for in-person learning and/or professional development.
Responsibilities
- Teaching developmental and/or college-level courses.
- Teaching distance-learning courses.
- Participating in in-person learning and/or professional development on campus.
