About The Position

Teaching faculty are professional educators whose primary responsibility is fulfilling the District mission of providing a quality education for students attending the colleges. Faculty members serve as leaders, teachers, advisors, and facilitators of learning. They uphold the colleges’ mission and values and foster effective working relationships with students and colleagues. Faculty members are responsible to a department/program chairperson. This is a part-time, temporary position without benefits. Courses may be taught in the evening and/or on weekends. The position is located in Political Science at 1819 N Main Ave., San Antonio, Texas.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Political Science or a related field; or a master’s degree in any discipline with 18 graduate hours in Political Science or a related field.
