About The Position

The Department of Physician Associate Studies at Augsburg University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach Graduate courses in 2027. This search will establish a “pool” of instructors for potential openings in Spring of 2027. Responsibilities include teaching students through small group facilitation, including courses in Anatomy, History and Physical Examination, and Clinical Practice Seminar. In addition, the PA department may have opportunities for clinical instructors in hospital or clinic-based settings. Available courses vary by term. Most classes are held during the day, 2-3 days per week. In addition to teaching the class and grading student work, instructors are expected to respond to student questions through email, hold regularly scheduled office hours, reach out to students with course progress information, and communicate regularly with the course coordinator.
