The Department of English, Communication, Culture, and Art at Western New England University invites applications to fill an opening for Adjunct Professor of Communication in the Fall 2026 semester. The department seeks a candidate who can teach at least one in-person section of a sophomore-level introductory video communication. Courses are scheduled three days per week (MWF) for 50 minutes. The ideal candidate will have at least a Master’s degree in public relations, communication, journalism, or a related subject or at least 10 years’ recent professional experience in the field of public relations; prior experience teaching and/or guest-lecturing to undergraduate students; and a demonstrable dedication to student success. The successful candidate may also be asked to teach additional courses in video communication. Interested candidates should submit a brief cover letter and curriculum vitae.
