About The Position

The Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) Program invites applications for Adjunct Faculty members to teach graduate-level coursework in adult practice, neuroscience, occupational therapy theory, evidence-based practice, and/or research methods. The successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in occupational therapy practice and a commitment to student-centered teaching and professional development.

Requirements

  • Occupational therapist with current NBCOT certification and eligibility for state licensure in Connecticut.
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field required.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience in adult rehabilitation, neurological practice, or related settings.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctoral degree preferred.
  • Experience with research, scholarship, evidence-based practice, or higher education teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned graduate-level courses and/or laboratories in adult rehabilitation, neuroscience, occupational therapy theory, evidence-based practice, and/or research.
  • Facilitate student learning through lectures, discussions, case-based learning, laboratory instruction, office hours and active learning strategies.
  • Evaluate student performance through assignments, examinations, practical assessments, presentations, and scholarly projects.
  • Provide timely feedback and maintain course materials within the learning management system.
  • Collaborate with program faculty to support curriculum quality, student success, and accreditation standards.
