About The Position
We are seeking qualified, dedicated candidates to join our NURSING PROGRAM team as a clinical instructor and help shape the future of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. This is a part-time teaching opportunity. Adjunct appointments are temporary and for a specified contract period only. Eligibility for employment requires residency within a New England state (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island).
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) OR Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) and currently enrolled in an MSN program.
- Two years of nursing care experience in an acute Medical-Surgical unit.
- Current Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire.
- Meet continuing education requirements by the NH Board of Nursing to maintain continuing licensure.
- Residency within a New England state.
Nice To Haves
- Clinical teaching experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical instruction for NUR 232L Nursing IV – Medical Surgical Clinical Instructor course.
- Supervise students in a clinical setting at Concord Hospital-Laconia.
- Emphasize advanced concepts of nursing care for patients across the lifespan with complex, multisystem alterations in health.
- Integrate complex clinical skills, priority setting, and autonomous clinical judgment.
- Provide opportunities for students to apply theoretical concepts, implement safe care, and evaluate outcomes.
