About The Position

We are seeking qualified, dedicated candidates who are looking for part-time teaching opportunities to join our NURSING PROGRAM team as a clinical instructor and help shape the future of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Adjunct appointments are temporary and for a specified contract period only. CCSNH has established employer status within the New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). In compliance with CCSNH policies and state regulations, eligibility for employment within CCSNH and its institutions requires residency within a New England state.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • OR a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) and currently enrolled in an MSN program.
  • OR a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
  • Two years of nursing care experience on a Maternal Newborn unit
  • A current Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire.
  • Meet the continuing education requirements by the NH Board of Nursing to maintain continuing licensure.
  • Residency within a New England state (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island).

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical instruction for NUR 232L Nursing IV – OB Clinical Instructor.
  • Apply theoretical concepts and implement safe care to patients and their families in a clinical setting.
  • Teach maternal, newborn, and reproductive health from a family-centered approach.
  • Guide students in learning about pregnancy, reproductive health, and the promotion of health behaviors during pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum.

Benefits

  • Compensation rate of $47.95 to $59.45 an hour, determined by appointed adjunct faculty rank.
