About The Position
The Department of Modern Languages and Cultures at Keene State College is seeking to hire an adjunct professor in Spanish. Responsibilities include teaching one or two beginning or intermediate level courses per semester. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English is required. Evidence of teaching and ability to teach Latin American Cultural Studies or Spanish Peninsular Studies is also essential. Keene State College is located in the scenic Monadnock region of Southwest New Hampshire and is an affiliate of the University System of New Hampshire. Located approximately 2 hours from Boston or Hartford CT, and 4 hours from New York City, the region contains many opportunities to enjoy outdoor recreation, cultural events, and a strong sense of community. Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English is required.
- Evidence of teaching and ability to teach Latin American Cultural Studies or Spanish Peninsular Studies is also essential.
- BA or MA Spanish language, Latin American Cultural Studies, Spanish Peninsular Studies or a related field
Nice To Haves
- PhD is preferred.
