Adjunct Faculty Member of Pharmacy Practice
About The Position
This is a part-time teaching position adjunct faculty position with additional responsibilities related to the academic program for the Spring semester of 2027. It reports through the department chair to the Dean of the College of Pharmacy. The position involves teaching in the Integrated Pharmacotherapy Sequence to second- and/or third-year pharmacy students, with content delivery being both synchronous on campus and asynchronous distance delivery. The role also includes serving as the course coordinator for the Patient Safety course, ensuring materials are posted in advance, maintaining student interactions, attending assigned classes and non-class activities, assessing student learning, and working collaboratively within the university community while adhering to policies and maintaining office hours.

Responsibilities
- Teach in the Integrated Pharmacotherapy Sequence to second- and/or third-year pharmacy students
- Deliver content both synchronously on campus and asynchronously via distance learning
- Follow the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) Standards
- Serve as the course coordinator for the Patient Safety course
- Ensure all materials are posted 2 weeks in advance of delivery
- Maintain regular interactions with enrolled students
- Meet assigned classes at the scheduled locations and for the scheduled durations
- Direct and attend non-class activities, as appropriate
- Assess student learning
- Work in a professional, collegial, and team-oriented manner with the University community
- Maintain compliance with policies and procedures in the Faculty Manual
- Maintain office hours, as appropriate
