About The Position

Full Sail University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach online courses in the Media Design Master of Fine Arts Degree Program. The program teaches students the theory behind effective media design, the concepts that drive successful design campaigns, and provides hands-on experience with design production processes commonly used in the industry. Adjuncts will help students gain knowledge in branding, strategy, team dynamics, client communications, and workflow. This position is part time working no more than 20 hours per week, online and must be resident in the state of Florida.

Requirements

Minimum of four (4) years related and verifiable work experience
Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in their discipline
Doctorate or Master of Fine Arts degree in the field of Media Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Digital Arts, Emerging Media or related field from a regionally accredited college or university.
Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, Excel, Keynote/PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience with public speaking and giving presentations as well as designing presentations
Ability to interact professionally and constructively with students and staff at all levels in an immersive, fast-paced environment
Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud
Knowledge of copywriting, target markets, and research strategies
Experience using Screen-capture web tools or software that allows for recording voice and screen
Ability to maintain active student and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system.

Responsibilities

Perform lectures for campus courses, and hold scheduled virtual course meetings for online courses. Teaching will be conducted through on-campus and online delivery.
