Requirements

  • Candidate must have a minimum Master’s degree in Mathematics and prior experience in teaching college level in Pre-Calculus and Calculus.
  • Instructors teaching these courses must use Cengage WebAssign online homework for their courses.
  • Candidates should have prior experience in teaching using an LMS (such as Blackboard or Canvas).

Responsibilities

  • The Mathematics Department at New York Institute of Technology, has openings for part-time (adjunct) instructors for the Fall 2026 semester at the New York Tech Manhattan Campus.
  • We expect that the new faculty hires will be assigned courses in Pre-Calculus and Calculus.
  • All adjuncts will be expected to participate in orientation, as needed, before the start of the semester.
