About The Position

The Graduate School of Professional Psychology (GSPP) at the University of Denver (DU) is seeking adjunct faculty instructors to teach various courses within the Master of Arts in International Disaster Psychology: Trauma and Global Mental Health (MAIDP) program for the 2026-2027 academic year. This program, established in 2005, provides specialized training in clinical psychology with a focus on trauma, disaster, and global mental health, emphasizing culturally responsive service delivery and expanding mental health workforces in low-resource communities. Adjunct faculty will be responsible for completing DU-wide online training, planning and teaching courses (which may be on-campus or online via Zoom), being available to students, assigning and grading work, and adhering to university policies.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
  • Demonstrated current and relevant expertise.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctoral degree in a related field.
  • Teaching experience at the graduate level.

Responsibilities

  • Complete DU-wide online training.
  • Plan and teach courses (on-campus or online using Zoom).
  • Be available to meet with students online or in-person.
  • Respond to student questions.
  • Assign and grade papers and exams as appropriate.
  • Adhere to all relevant DU policies and procedures.
