The successful candidate will teach occupational skills and knowledge to provide students with the competence to become skilled in the field and to secure a job in their new career; demonstrate occupational materials, tools, equipment, and processes using standard and/or instructor-prepared aides per state requirements; instruct students in the appropriate safety precautions and the safe operation and use of tools and equipment per state requirements and manufacturer; control the storage, maintenance, and use of materials and property to prevent loss or abuse; and establish and maintain standards of student conduct to provide an orderly, safe, and productive environment in a hands-on activity classroom setting.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College with a Facials Certification/License.
  • Licensed in the field of facials for at least six years, a two-year degree with four years’ experience, a four-year degree with two years’ experience, or a master’s degree with one year experience.
  • Proficiency with various types of facials modalities.
  • Clear understanding of OSHA and sanitization rules and regulations, plus job safety.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations.
  • Pass a Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check.

  • Prior teaching experience is preferred.
