About The Position
The Department of Theatre & Dance is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach general education courses. Available courses include Cont World Theater, Fundamentals of Jazz Dance, Elements of Dance, Ballroom Dance, and Experiencing Acting. Qualified candidates must possess a master's degree. Teaching experience is preferred. All application materials must be submitted through the Rowan website. Limited positions are available, but all applications will be kept on file for future hiring needs. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US, and the university will not sponsor a work visa for this position. Responsibilities
- Teach general education courses in Theatre & Dance, such as Cont World Theater, Fundamentals of Jazz Dance, Elements of Dance, Ballroom Dance, and Experiencing Acting.
- Assign courses to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
Benefits
- Minimum of $2,225 per credit (after 9/1/2026)
- Maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester
- Maximum teaching load of 12 credits in an academic year
