About The Position
The Department of History in the Ric Edelman College of Communication, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Rowan University seeks to create a pool of adjunct faculty qualified to teach survey-level courses in Western Civilization, World History, and United States History. Some of these courses are offered online, but candidates who can teach in-person with morning to afternoon availability are preferred.
Requirements
- M.A. or Ph.D. in History with field of expertise appropriate to the course.
- Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
- Teach survey-level courses in Western Civilization, World History, and United States History.
Benefits
- Minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught.
- Maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year.
