Adjunct Faculty Cosmetology
About The Position
Adjunct faculty members teach assigned courses and may teach evening, weekend, online, and dual enrollment courses as needed. Faculty are expected to support the institution’s mission and vision, follow the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies, and maintain currency in their teaching discipline. Adjunct faculty report directly to the academic program manager and/or department chair within their respective departments and divisions. A pre-employment criminal background screen is required as a condition of employment. Requirements
- Associate’s degree and/or work experience in the field of study plus industry-based certifications.
- Cosmetology instructor license issued by the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology.
- Passing pre-employment criminal background screen.
