About The Position

Adjunct faculty members teach courses as assigned and may teach evening, weekend, online, and dual-enrollment courses as needed. Faculty are expected to support the institution’s mission and vision, follow the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies, and maintain currency in their teaching discipline. Adjunct faculty report directly to the academic program manager and/or department chair within their respective departments and divisions.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and/or work experience in the field of study, plus industry-based certifications.
• Cosmetology instructor license issued by the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology.
• Passing a pre-employment criminal background screen is required as a condition of employment.
