About The Position

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Texas A&M International University seeks to establish a pool of qualified applicants for future part-time Adjunct faculty appointments in Communication Disorders. Successful applicants may teach up to six (6) semester credit hours in the required discipline online, as dictated by program, course schedule, and student demand. Responsibilities include holding office hours and assisting students as needed. These are temporary appointments for the 2026-2027 academic year, assigned per semester or on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders (CSDO), Audiology, or a closely related field, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in speech-language pathology and/or audiology, and/or exceptional relevant clinical or professional experience.
  • Three or more years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist or Audiologist.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with the general public.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work under stress and with pressing timelines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level.
  • Experience with online course delivery.

Responsibilities
