About The Position

Rivier University is hiring part-time Adjunct Faculty on a semester-to-semester basis to teach the course: Biology- Stewards of the Living World. Reporting to the Program Coordinator for Science, the adjunct instructor is responsible for teaching day sections of Stewards of the Living World on our Nashua, New Hampshire campus. This course will focus on our role as stewards of the earth. Students will gain an understanding of the uniqueness, diversity, and beauty of the natural world while being exposed to the ways in which human actions impact the delicate relationships between the physical, chemical, and biological aspects responsible for the integrity of the planet.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Biology, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability in and commitment to teaching excellence in the lab sciences.

Nice To Haves

  • Academic teaching experience preferred.
  • Desire to mentor undergraduate students in their course work and career goals.

  • Candidate must possess a keen interest and enthusiasm for engaging, teaching, and mentoring students at the undergraduate level.
