The Psychology Department seeks to hire an adjunct faculty member to teach one section of the 3-credit undergraduate level course, PSYB329A Approaches to Healing. The section is 3 credits or 45 “contact” hours, offered in the FALL semester of 2026, and will be taught in a fully in-person format. A basic overview of the theory, practice, and use of various natural approaches to health and healing. Emphasis is placed upon understanding and appreciating these modalities and discerning when and for what they are appropriate. Students research and articulate the paradigms of holistic medicine, clarifying their personal interest for future work in this field. Open to upper-division students with 60+ credits only.
