About The Position

Blue Ridge Community College (BRCC) is seeking potential applicants for credit adjunct teaching positions in Agriculture-Business. This role involves teaching various Agriculture courses and may include day, evening, online, and/or hybrid formats. Applicants should be passionate about education and inspired by meaningful work. A teaching demonstration may be required.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field, or a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the subject matter.
• Teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Community college teaching experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with online or hybrid course delivery.

Responsibilities

• Teach various Agriculture courses such as: Introduction to Animal Science, Introduction to Plant Science and Technology, Introduction to Agribusiness, Agriculture Human Resource Management, Agribusiness Marketing, Risk Management and Entrepreneurship, and Soil Fertility and Management.
• Potentially teach courses in a combination of day, evening, online, and/or hybrid formats.
