Adjunct Business Law Instructor
About The Position
Oakland Community College (OCC) is a multi-campus institution in Oakland County, Michigan, dedicated to providing quality learning opportunities on an accessible, affordable basis. As one of the largest community colleges in Michigan, OCC serves over 12,000 students and is seeking Adjunct Faculty Instructors who value diversity, shared responsibility, open communication, personal empowerment, integrity, and ethical commitment. Adjunct Faculty must be committed to using modern technology in the classroom. Applications are accepted continuously for an as-needed basis throughout the academic year, depending on enrollment needs. Candidates without legal residence in Michigan will become Edustaff employees, with employment offers, salary, and benefits provided by Edustaff, not OCC. Requirements
- Juris Doctorate (JD)
- Commitment to using modern technology in the classroom.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with multi-cultural students and staff preferred
- Ability to work as a team player in a multi-cultural working environment
- Online teaching experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Teach anticipated day, evening, and/or online Business Law courses, which range from basic to advanced skill levels.
- Maintain and/or provide licensure and certifications where applicable.
