About The Position

Daley College, part of the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC), is seeking a part-time Art Adjunct Faculty member for the Humanities Department. CCC serves 120,000 students across seven campuses and six satellite sites. Daley College, located on the southwest side of Chicago, provides accessible and affordable educational opportunities. The Advanced Manufacturing College to Careers program is headquartered at Daley College. This position may require fully in-person teaching, as hybrid schedules are not guaranteed. The role begins in the Fall 2026 Semester.

Requirements

M.F.A. in any of the studio arts (e.g., painting, photography, sculpture) or M.A. in Art History
Demonstrate excellence in teaching, commitment to integrating new technologies in the learning process, and the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower students to succeed.
Maintain office hours for advising, mentoring, and coaching students.
Development and revision of courses and instructional materials as necessary.
Post syllabi and grades on Blackboard.
