About The Position

Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, and service, seeks dynamic applicants who can engage and inspire a diverse student body as an adjunct instructor in the Art History program of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts. This one-semester position ranges from August 19 - December 4, 2026 with the potential for renewal. This position entails teaching ARTH 2150/3150 High Renaissance Art in Italy.

Requirements

  • Master of Arts or Ph.D. degree in Art History or related field
  • Experience teaching the art of the Renaissance period in Italy
  • Ability to deliver high-level instruction to University students as is required for their degree program, as well as to students who are non-majors and non-minors with varying degrees of experience.
