The Adjudicator will work on personnel security cases assigned by the Government. Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing case files, determining if additional security processing is needed, and recommending such processing to the Government. The role involves interviewing subjects, discussing cases with various stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, and analyzing case information to establish a nexus between subject behavior and security issues. A key part of the role is providing final written recommendations using Government formats to support decisions on granting, disapproving, or revoking security access. The Adjudicator will also maintain security files, deliver oral presentations, administer notifications, protect acquired information, and respond to Government inquiries. They will provide draft and final adjudicative recommendations, complete cases as identified by the Government, and may perform spot checks of previous decisions. Additionally, the role may involve providing Adjudication training and briefings, potentially including TDY travel. A monthly report on case statistics is also required.
